► Summer Sunday Concerts by the Sea- July/August
This four concert series held in July and August takes place right on Moonlight Beach so bring your beach blankets and chairs. Each concert features a different musical style. Reserve 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. for some great music and dancing under the sun. For more information call (760) 633-2756. Concert dates are as follows:

► Feeling Fit Festival- Sunday, October 2010
This FREE event for all ages is held from 11am to 2pm on Sunday, October 3 at Leo Mullen Sports Park, across from the Encinitas Ranch Shopping Center. Participate in guided trail hikes, drop-in sports clinics and fitness class demos. Also check out the giant rock climbing wall, surf simulator and bungee trampolines. There will be plenty of information and giveaways from the many health and fitness exhibitors on hand. This event is presented by the City of Encinitas in cooperation with San Diego Medical Services Enterprise. For event information call (760) 943-2269.
► Encinitas Holiday Parade- Saturday, December 4, 2010
The City of Encinitas is excited to announce the 2010 Encinitas Holiday Parade, to be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010. Festivities will kick off with the Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa in the "Lumberyard" on Coast Highway 101 at 5pm. The Parade will begin down the route at 5:30pm from D St. on the Coast Highway all the way down to J St. The Holiday Parade "elves" will be hard at work this summer and fall organizing the parade and selecting this year's theme. ► Easter Egg Hunt Festival- Saturday, April 23, 2011
The City of Encinitas Easter Egg Hunt Festival will take place from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Ecke Sports Park, located at 278 Saxony Rd. This free event features arts and crafts, entertainment, prizes, jump houses, face painting, pictures with the bunny (for a fee) and of course, 24,000 eggs! Egg hunt times are as follows: 10:15 – 2 years and under, 10:45 – 3 year olds, 11:15 – 4 & 5 year olds, 11:45 – 6 & 7 year olds, 12:15 – 8 & 9 year olds. ► Senior Information Fair- April 2011
Attention all seniors! Join us for our annual FREE Senior Information Fair featuring over 65 exhibitors offering information about services for seniors; including health, transportation, housing, recreation and more. ► City of Encinitas 5K-1K Run/Walk- May 2011
This fun filled community event will be held at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. This event is just a part of the Encinitas Sports and Fitness Festival weekend of events that includes a Triathlon, Century Bicycle Tour, Swim and Paddle races and a Fitness Expo. Held annually, this USA Track and Field sanctioned race features free refreshments, a popular event t-shirt and goody bag for all participants. Participation medals are handed out to all youth runners and walkers. Each age group’s top three finishers will receive an award. All ages are welcome rain or shine, however, no skateboards, roller blades, scooters or dogs please. Pushed baby strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.
